Hey, I’m Brandon. I studied traditional 🎓 graphic design in South Carolina, but I do a lot of 📱 product design nowadays. I’ve also been known to do branding, lettering, illustration, and sometimes tinkering with HTML & CSS. I immigrated to 🍻 Germany in 2014, but I’m from 🇺🇸 South Carolina.
When it comes to design, I’m all about creating experiences that are both beautiful and 💫 functional. I love surprise and delight 🤗 but not just confetti on the last screen. I like things quite simple and clear. I don’t like long explainer text, things should be intuitive. I’ll always fight for work that makes you feel ❤️🩹 something. I like things that are a bit strange or out of the ordinary, and I refute the idea that people are boring. 🦋 People are so interesting, even the most boring person you can think of is a whole, unique, interesting person.
In my free time, I like to make mixed media 🎨 art. My art practice allows me to stay grounded in real 🖍️ materials and ungrounded in more abstract 🔮 themes. Often I think of the work as a sort of 📓 diary — a way to express things that can’t really be put into words. Check it out
At the end of the day, I just want to create things that are executed perfectly and resonate with people. There’s hardly anything more rewarding than seeing someone connect with my work.
