Fans are so ugly, man. Like, whoever usually designs fans really doesn’t get it. Anyway I found this simple, cheap, all-metal one. I like it, It’s the right size for a big room, but not so big to be a big ugly feature in the room (standing fans are an eye-sore in my opinion).
I’d be into getting a Dyson “air multiplier” 🙄 if they weren’t a million bucks and didn’t look like a plastic spaceship (I don’t mind my vacuum cleaner looking like a plastic spaceship, but a thing that’s always on display in my home is different.).
Note: the Amazon.de and Amazon.com links are to two different products. I recommend the AEG (German) product over the other one, but the fan product space is such a disaster of plastic and 🚮 garbage design, that I couldn’t find one to match the AEG one I really recommend. If anyone knows of a fan available in the US that’s similar to this, let me know!
